Michelle Williams is engaged to Hamilton director Thomas Kail- and expecting a baby!

It's a big end of the decade for Michelle Williams- the 39-year-old actress is engaged to director Thomas Kail and they're expecting their first child together!

The four-time Oscar nominee and Tony award-winning director, 42, were spotted together in London. Williams was spotted shopping for baby clothes in Kensington, where she is currently filming Venom 2. Kail is well known for directing the award-winning stage musical Hamilton.

Kail and Williams met on the set on the drama Fosse/Verdon. She won an Emmy Award for the role she played as Gwen Verdon, as the lead actress in the series.

Williams is also a mother to 14-year-old Matilda, from her relationship with the late Heath Ledger who passed away in 2008. The pair met on the set of Brokeback Mountain in 2005 and dated for three years. They separated in 2007, just five months before Ledger passed away.

Williams was briefly married to musician Phil Elverum. The pair wed mid-2018 in a secret ceremony, although they separated early this year after less than a year of marriage.

She told Vanity Fair in 2018 that despite what she's been through, she's never given up on love.

"I never gave up on love" she told the magazine. "I always say to Matilda, 'Your dad loved me before anybody thought I was talented, or pretty, or had nice clothes".

"Don't settle." She offered "Don't settle for something that feels like a prison, or is hard, or hurts you" continuing "If it doesn't feel like love, it's not love."
