Megan Fox has spoken candidly about her experience with fame at the height of her career.

The American actress and Transformers star, 39, spoke about the pitfalls and how rude the paparazzi were to her when she was promoting her film, Jennifer's Body, when it came out in 2009.

Speaking at a screening of the film, per People, she recalled being called a "b--ch" by paparazzi.

"I just left a premiere for something where I had to go – I'm obligated to go – and I remember the paparazzi were so ruthless back then – the way they would talk to women," she said.

She said they hounded her when she was heading to her car.

"And one guy's like, 'Megan, why are you such a b--ch?' And another guy is like, 'Megan, do you think you're overrated? The internet says so,' and I'm just trying to do my job," she recalled.
