Meg Ryan confirms engagement to John Mellencamp
Meg Ryan is engaged!
The beloved 56-year-old actress said "yes" to her longtime beau, rock musician John Mellencamp.
The You've Got Mail star confirmed the happy news on November 8, sharing what appeared to be a hand drawn sketch of herself and Mellencamp holding hands to her Instagram.
She captioned the pic simply, "ENGAGED!"
On November 7, she was photographed in New York City wearing a gold band on her left ring finger, which spurred rumours that she and Mellencamp were secretly married.
Ryan and the 'Jack and Diane' singer, 67, were first romantically linked in 2011, but reportedly split in 2013. They reunited in 2017, and, according to Page Six, were said to have been planning "a wedding-like reception" earlier this year.

This will be Mellencamp's fourth marriage. He shares daughter Teddi, a star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, with ex-wife Victoria Granucci.
Ryan was previously married to fellow actor Dennis Quaid from 1991-2001. They share son Jack, 26.
