Matthew Perry and ex-fiancée Molly Hurwitz split because they 'weren't aligned on important topics'
New details have emerged amid Matthew Perry's split from fiancée Molly Hurwitz.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the pair "both wanted different things" out of their relationship.

"They weren't aligned on important topics that would impact their future together as a couple," a source told the outlet. "They decided it would be best if they split."
The Friends star, 51, confirmed his split from Hurwitz, 29, on Tuesday, saying in a statement, "Sometimes things just don't work out and this is one of them. I wish Molly the best."

The former couple started dating in secret back in 2018 and announced news of their engagement in November last year.

"I decided to get engaged," Perry told People at the time. "Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time."
Perry and Hurwitz were first spotted together in December 2019 out on a date at a restaurant. They spent Christmas 2019 together "with friends at [Matthew's] penthouse" in LA.
The exes briefly split in May 2020 but got back together shortly after. Following their breakup, Perry was seen on the exclusive celebrity dating app Raya.
News of Perry's split comes shortly after he reunited with Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc for the Friends: The Reunion special.
