Matt Damon jokingly comments on Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's romance: 'I wish them nothing but hardship'
Matt Damon is thrilled for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez!
The Stillwater actor, who is a longtime friend of Affleck's, joked that he wished them "hardship" when asked about their rekindled romance.
"You're very happy for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez," Jess Cagle said on his Sirius XM show. "I know you love getting asked about that." Watch above!

"Right, but how else would I be? Like, would I be unhappy?" Damon responded as he laughed. "Like, 'I hate true love. It sucks. Yeah. Yeah. I wish them nothing but, you know, hardship'."
In a separate interview with Extra, Damon said he's "just so happy" for the couple.
"He's the best. He deserves every happiness in the world," Damon said. "I'm glad for both of them."

In May, Damon was first asked by the speculation the couple had gotten back together.
"I love them both," the Oscar winner told US Today from a TAB in Australia. "I hope it's true. That would be awesome."
Now, the couple have confirmed their relationship by going Instagram official and celebrating Lopez's 52nd birthday together.
Lopez and Affleck were previously engaged between 2002 and 2004. Lopez reconnected with Affleck in April this year and have been galivanting in Montana, France and Los Angeles.
