'Married At First Sight' 2019: Mike admits he got his hairline tattooed
Married At First Sight groom Mike has confirmed what fans have long suspected: that he has a tattooed hairline.
The MAFS participant was a guest on Nova's breakfast program Fitzy & Wippa yesterday, where co-hosts Ryan 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald and Michael 'Wippa' Wipfli quizzed him about the new-age procedure.
"Someone has rung us and told us that you've had the tattoo done on the top of the head," Fitzy asked Mike of the procedure which is formally known as scalp micropigmentation (SMP).
In case you're wondering, SMP is non-invasive treatment that uses micro needles to deposit pigment into the scalp, thus creating the illusion of a buzzcut on an otherwise bald head.
"What do you think? Do you reckon I've had it done? Do you want to take a closer look?" replied the 43-year-old Gold Coast electrician, who's married to Heidi in the social experiment.
"Well, I can't reveal my secrets," he added, before joking, "I'm not actually bald my hairdresser is just Brazillian."
After initially being coy about whether or not he had undergone the hairline replacement procedure, Mike -- who's known for his signature bald look on MAFS -- eventually 'fessed up.
"But how good do I look?!" he told Fitzy, who is considering SMP for his own receding hairline. "I've got a great guy, I'll put you in touch."
