Inside Liam Hemsworth's upcoming wedding to Gabriella Brooks: From the star-studded guest list to location

The countdown is on for Liam Hemsworth to tie the knot again – this time to his Australian model bride-to-be, Gabriella Brooks.

The smitten and private pair, 35 and 29 respectively, announced their engagement to fans on Instagram back in September.

It will be Hemsworth's second time down the aisle, with The Hunger Games star previously married to American singer Miley Cyrus, 33.

With the actor's brother Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky among those expected to attend – and potentially Brooks' close friend Anaïs Gallagher, daughter of Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher – nine.com.au takes a look at what will be one of the biggest celebrity weddings of the year.

The young pair got engaged in September.

Brooks, 29, excitedly announced the news on Instagram, showing off the stunning diamond ring presented to her by the actor.

She shared a series of pictures including a black and white photograph of her and Hemsworth, and a close up of her square-cut engagement ring.

It features a whisper-thin gold band.

She captioned the post with a simple white love heart emoji, before being inundated with congratulatory messages from fans and followers.

"Congratulations!! 🌹🌹🌹'' Aussie model Jessica Gomes commented under the announcement post.

"Congrats!!!!" actor Lukas Gage added.

The happy couple were first linked in December 2019, according to reports.

In January, Brooks lifted the lid on their romance and gave fans rare insight into their relationship.

She shared a sweet public birthday tribute to Liam to mark his 35th birthday, calling him her "sunshine" in a post.

Sharing some unseen photographs of the pair together and with their dogs, she wrote in her post: "Happy Birthday to my sunshine 💛."

About the engagement, Liam recently said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: "I didn't have a huge plan behind the engagement."

"I mean, I had enough of a plan to have bought the ring, but I was sort of just waiting for the right moment."

The star-studded guest list

Hemsworth's own family have enough star power to make this a huge A-lister wedding, if they choose to do a big wedding and celebration.

His siblings and fellow actors Chris and Luke – who has also made a name for himself in the US with shows including Westworld – are, of course, expected to attend, as they all get along well.

Chris' wife, Spanish model and actress Elsa Pataky, 49, is another big name in the family. The Fast & Furious star and Chris have been married since 2010.

Meanwhile, Brooks is believed to be quite close with Anaïs Gallagher, 25, the daughter of Oasis' Noel Gallagher.

Infact, the pair recently attended some Oasis concert shows together, with Brooks sharing pictures from the night out.

"It's good to be back @oasis," she captioned one recent post from a London Wembley show.

"New Gallagher sister," one follower commented underneath.

Brooks previously touched on her relationship with Hemsworth in an interview with Stellar, telling the publication it is "very, very important and very sacred" to her.

"And I feel like in an industry where so much is put out on show, there are some things you just want to keep to yourself," she added.

"But he's great... They [the Hemsworths] are great. They are the most beautiful people and I'm very lucky to know them."

The Hemsworths are also close to personal trainer and fitness buff Luke Zocchi, who trains Chris and is often seen hanging out with the clan.

So we have no doubt he'll also be invited to Liam's wedding.

The wedding location

We're guessing if Liam chose a more low-key and an at-home location for his nuptials to Flowers singer Miley Cyrus, he might do something similar for his wedding to Brooks.

The three Hemsworth brothers all have pads in the idyllic Australian celebrity enclave of Bryon Bay, on the NSW coast.

Liam, who has just taken over Henry Cavill's role in popular fantasy series The Witcher, owns a plush home in Newrybar which he is renovating, according to reports.

However in recent months, Hemsworth moved to London for The Witcher, in his role as Geralt of Rivia, so possibly the wedding could be held in London or the UK or a destination not far off from there.
