Lady Gaga makes spectacular red carpet debut with new fiancé Michael Polanksy

Lady Gaga has been with her partner Michael Polanksy for four years but it seems it took a ring to make it red carpet official.

The global superstar stepped out onto the Joker: Folie à Deux red carpet at the Venice International Film Festival in a show-stopping ensemble and for the first time she was joined by her new fiancé.

Despite being together for years now this is the first time they've walked the red carpet together and is a special moment for the couple.

For the occasion, Lady Gaga wore a show-stopping Dior Haute Couture dress with a velvet bodice and cylindrical pleats on her hem. She paired the stunning dress with a dramatic headpiece and a huge diamond.

Meanwhile Polanksy matched her all black ensemble with a simple black tuxedo complete with a bow tie.

Gaga's look was of course complete with her newest accessory – a giant diamond that she wore on her left ring finger.

Last month, news that the pair might be engaged broke when the Just Dance singer seemingly let it slip while attending the Olympic Games Paris 2024 with Polansky.

While speaking to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, Gaga introduced Polansky as "my fiancé" as they watched a swimming event.

Attal posted the moment to TikTok alongside the caption: "Thank you Lady Gaga for your stunning performance at the opening ceremony. It was breathtaking."

Despite quietly confirming her engagement with the simple exchange, both Gaga and Polansky haven't officially confirmed their engagement in a statement.

But their appearance on the red carpet with Gaga's colossal diamond on display seems to scream loud and clear that wedding bells are on the horizon.

It was over four years ago that the couple first confirmed their relationship with the world.

During a couple's retreat to Florida, Lady Gaga and Polansky became Instagram official on February 4, 2020.

"We had so much fun in Miami. Love to all my little monsters and fans, you're the best!" the singer captioned a snap of them on a yacht at the time.

A month later, she shared a selfie of the pair with the caption: "I've got a STUPID love."

In November 2021, Gaga spoke about Polansky during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, calling him "the man I love" and describing him as "my whole life."
