Kris Jenner to have her ovaries removed after doctors find a cyst and tumour

Kris Jenner has shared an emotional update on her health after doctors found a cyst and tumour.

As reported by People, Jenner, 68, revealed on The Kardashians this week that the cyst and tumour were on her ovary and she now has to have her ovaries removed.

"Dr A said I've gotta have my ovaries taken out and I'm emotional about it because they came in handy with you guys," she told daughters Kim and Knloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner.

"That's where all my kids were conceived and that's where they were grown, in my tummy. So this is a very sacred place to me."

Jenner then added that she feels like it's "a whole chapter that's just closed".

Two months ago, in a teaser clip for The Kardashians on Hulu, she told her daughters about her health scare.

"I had my scan, they found a cyst and a little tumour," Kris said in the clip.

Immediately, daughter Kylie, 26, burst into tears at hearing the news about her mother's health scare.

In late 2022, Jenner revealed she had a hip replacement.

"I am determined to live again without this pain," she said on the show at the time.

"Me and my family have so many exciting things going on that I don't wanna miss a thing."

It's been a difficult few months for the Kardashian matriarch, who recently shared a touching tribute to her late sister Karen Houghton following her death at the age of 65.
