Kim and Kanye's rules for disciplining daughter North

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West seem like they've got the whole child-rearing thing down pat.

After Kim's ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush publicly said he "harshly disciplines" his one-year-old daughter, a source has revealed that it's exactly the opposite way Kim and Kanye are raising baby North.

"Kim and Kanye decided before North was born there would be no spanking, ever," an insider told RadarOnline. "It’s not how they want to raise their daughter. As North gets older, and when she acts up, there will be time-outs, taking away a favourite toy, but absolutely no physical discipline."

Apparently, parenting according to Kimye is "all about rewarding the positive behaviour, and dealing with the naughty tantrums with patience and love," said the source. Sounds fair to us.

It looks like the couple are turning into quite the mature adults. Believe it or not, Kanye is about to become a professor, taking up a teaching position at the Los Angeles Trade Technical College as part of a court-ordered community service program. We wonder if he'll use his new found authority as a father figure to impart some wisdom on his students?

However, while Kanye might have a tough "rap guy" image, when it comes to his daughter he's apparently a total softie.

"She has her daddy wrapped around her little finger," revealed the insider, who thinks that it will be down to Kim to discipline North as she grows up. "There is no way Kanye would ever be able to hand down a punishment on North because when it comes to her, she can do no wrong. She is such a daddy’s girl. It’s adorable to see them together."
