Keith Urban and daughter Faith 'popped down' to Australia for Father's Day

Keith Urban's teenager went to incredible lengths to spend Father's Day with her dad.

While his wife Nicole Kidman has been busy abroad at the Venice Film Festival and The Perfect Couple premiere in London, Urban made his way home to Sydney for the weekend with a special plus one.

Speaking on The Kyle & Jackie O Show this morning, Urban revealed his and Kidman's daughter Faith Margaret joined him in Australia – just in time to celebrate her dad on Sunday.

The 56-year-old shares daughters Sunday Rose, and Faith, 13 with Kidman.

"I saw that you arrived home for Father's Day. But were you, were the kids with you or what happened?" radio host Kyle Sandilands asked the singer on air Tuesday morning.

"I have one daughter with us," Urban said, confirming his 13-year-old Faith was with him.

"Because they're out of school just for this long weekend. It's Labour Day over there in America," he explained.

Urban shared his teen is flying back to the US tomorrow (Wednesday) in time for school.

Urban and Kidman reside with their kids in Nashville. They also have half a dozen apartments in harbourside Milsons Point.

"What jet setters to be able to do that!" co-host Jackie 'O' Henderson said in awe.

This wasn't the first time Urban's heard that from someone.

"I said to somebody a long time ago, I said, 'I've got to pop down to Australia next week.' And they go, 'Wait a minute, wait, did you just say pop down to Australia?' And they went, 'You know, you travel a lot when you use the phrase pop down to Australia'," Urban hilariously recalled.

Just a few months ago, Urban's teen daughters made their red carpet debut.

The teens joined their dad in April to cheer on their famous mum as she was honoured with the AFI Life Achievement Award at a gala event.

"It was great to be able to bring our girls but also the whole family, you know, Nic's sister and her husband and all their kids," Urban told Extra about the family debut.

Urban has been married to the Moulin Rouge star since 2006. They welcomed their first daughter Sunday Rose in 2008.
