Karl Stefanovic shares adorable photo of FaceTime call with newborn daughter Harper May

Karl Stefanovic continues to dote on newborn daughter Harper May, even from afar.

The Today Show host squeezed in a quick video call with the gorgeous six-week-old just before going to air this morning.

"5am FaceTime feeding call with this beauty. All you need is [love heart emoji]," the proud dad captioned a happy snap as he called home from Nine's HQ in Sydney.

In the photo, Harper could be seen on mum Jasmine Yarbrough's lap while she stared adoringly at the screen. 

Good friend and Nova 96.9 radio host Ryan 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald wanted in on the love, hilariously commenting on the pic, "I'm having breakfast right now, can you FaceTime me?"

With FaceTime calls and play dates, Harper has had a busy 24 hours. The newborn also enjoyed a family-filled Sunday with four-month-old cousin Oscar, who is the son of Karl's brother Peter Stefanovic and incoming Today Extra co-host Sylvia Jeffreys.

"I love my cousin," Jasmine captioned a photo of Harper holding onto Oscar's hand as they played on the mat. Jeffreys posted the same photo to her Instagram Stories along with the GIF that read "Cousin's Day."

Karl and Jasmine welcomed Harper on May 1 and the proud parents have enjoyed being in the newborn baby bubble ever since.

"I know they call it the bubble in the first couple of weeks but Harper may the bubble continue," he said on the Today show after returning from a week-long paternity leave. "She is so gorgeous — 2.9 kilos of just scrumptious delight. She's sleeping OK, three hours on, three hours off."

"Jasmine has just taken it in her stride, she is feeding really well. It makes me cry already," added Karl, who has three children from his previous marriage, Jackson, 20, Ava, 15 and River, 13. 

And like Jasmine, Karl too is taking it all in his stride, despite not having changed a nappy in more than a decade. 

"It felt very difficult waking up this morning only five minutes after changing a nappy, but it's like riding a bike — you just get used to it," he said.
