Kanye West is building a hospital…in his own home!

Paging Dr West! King of OTT Kanye West has outdone himself yet again...by planning to add a fully-functioning hospital to his new house.

Sources have revealed that the rapper, 37, is set to drop a cool $5 million on the state-of-the-art hospital wing.

"The suite will include an X-ray machine, CT scanner, ultrasound and blood-taking facilities," an insider tells Perez Hilton.

"The facilities will enable the family to monitor their sugar levels, cholesterol and blood pressure. They will also have a team of private doctors around the clock, daily visits from top nurses and a full paediatric team for North." We hope they name it the North West Wing!

While Kanye is happy to throw millions into the medical suite his wife Kim, 33, isn't a huge fan of the idea.

"Kim believes it's paranoid and a bit unnecessary," the source says. "But she figures it can't do any harm, and he might prove to be right one day."

Perhaps selfie-obsessed Kim realised it's the perfect opportunity to get some work done in the privacy of her own home!
