Kaley Cuoco's Big Bang Theory S&M scene banned for being too sexy
Penny and Leonard may now be married on The Big Bang Theory, but that doesn't mean they get to do whatever they want to do…in the sex dungeon.
At least not on UK TV.
The Mirror reports that a racy S&M scene from the hit TV comedy The Big Bang Theory has been banned on British TV for being too sexy.
The scene in question is actually a fantasy sequence in which Sheldon (Jim Parsons) has a nightmare that his bestie Leonard (Jonathan Galeki) and Leonard's bride Penny (a bustier-clad Kaley Cuoco) have turned his bedroom into a sex dungeon.
Apparently, this is the type of thing you dream about when you're a physics nerd.
In the offending scene, Sheldon walks into his bedroom to find shirtless Leonard chained to the wall as cleavage-baring Penny brandishes a whip.
"What is going on?" Sheldon asks.
"Oh, hey, Sheldon," Leonard replies, as if he's just been caught pulling a quantum physics journal from the shelf.
"We've turned your room into a sex dungeon. Ooh," Penny says as she slaps Leonard's butt with her whip.
And that's all it took for the Brits to cry "No way!"
Advertisers balked at Kaley's cleavage, and the scene was cut from the upcoming airing of the seventh episode of season 10.
Thankfully, we're not constricted by such rigid social mores, so you can view the relatively tame scene above. Enjoy.
The Big Bang Theory airs Thursday at 7.30pm on Channel 9. Catch-up on past episodes on 9Now.
