JoJo Siwa debuts new hairstyle in celebration of her 17th birthday
JoJo Siwa has traded her famous ponytail for a new hairstyle.
The internet sensation celebrated her 17th birthday by debuting a new look on her TikTok account.
In the short clip, Siwa can be seen facing the mirror with her signature jacket and ponytail intact, before scrubbing it and unveiling some soft curls for the 'Wipe It Down' challenge.

"IT'S MY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW," she captioned the video. She also celebrated her upcoming 17th birthday with a video of her dancing to Rihanna's 'Umbrella'. "What did i do on my last day of being 16 u ask?????," she captioned the clip.
Back in April, Siwa shared a video of herself wearing her hair natural on TikTok after a fan asked her to "dress normal for a day."

Previously, Siwa has admitted that the high ponytail is an ideal hairstyle to resort to. She responded to a fan comment on Instagram Live on whether the pony tail causes her pain, saying, "Yes, actually it can. It doesn't all the time, but some days I'm like, 'Oh! My head hurts so bad.'"
She continued to address the incessant negative comments that she occasionally gets saying: "It's hard, you know, when I see people commenting things. But I've trained myself to look at it from a comedy angle, and I have the best friends and the best family ever. So, that's all that matters."
