Travolta's son died in January 2009 while on holiday with his family in the Bahamas.

Jett, who was 16 at the time, had suffered a seizure and hit his head at their holiday home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island. After his death, Travolta and his wife, the late Kelly Preston, confirmed that their son had autism and would regularly have seizures.
