Comedian John Mulaney confirms marriage to actress Olivia Munn a month after their secret wedding

Comedian John Mulaney has confirmed a month after their secret wedding that he indeed tied the knot with actress Olivia Munn.

In a new appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, the eponymous host began by congratulating the star on his recent nuptials.

"I got married," Mulaney, 41, confirmed while showing off his wedding ring and thanking the audience who cheered at the news. "It's the best," he added.

Munn, 44, and Mulaney first met at Meyers' wedding in 2013 before they began dating years later in 2021.

It was reported in July 2024 the pair, who share son Malcolm, two, had tied the knot.

Later in the interview the star sweetly admitted, "It's the greatest single time in my life".

Mulaney had a special guest watching him from the audience – his new mother-in-law.

The star waved to Munn's mother Kim Schmid from the stage, greeting her as 'Mum'.

"We got married so that's, you know, I call her Mum now," the star quipped before hilariously correcting himself when Schmid called out "in-law".

"I'm so happy she came," Mulaney admitted, quipping that "one of them will come with you anywhere".

"I've been in a lot of interesting situations, but marrying into a large Vietnamese family is one of the most fun things I've ever done," he said when asked about his new in-laws.

"They're the greatest," he said, sharing his in-laws call him by his full name "all the time".

It was reported a month ago the pair got married at a friend's home in New York state with only their son Malcolm and a witness in attendance.

The couple struck up a romantic relationship in 2021 following Mulaney's divorce from his wife of six years Anna Tendler.

In September 2021, Mulaney announced he and Munn were expecting a child together during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers.

Munn and Mulaney welcomed their son Malcolm together in November 2021.

Since then, the couple have made several red carpet appearances together and shared snippets of their family live to social media.

Recently Mulaney has been by Munn's side through her heartbreaking cancer diagnosis.
