Singer John Mellencamp, 69, splits from girlfriend Natasha Barrett, 46, after several months of dating

John Mellencamp and his girlfriend, Natasha Barrett, have reportedly parted ways.

According to People magazine, the 69-year-old musician recently split from the celebrity real estate agent, 46, after just several months of dating. 

It was People who broke the news of the relationship back in June, revealing it was the singer's daughter, former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, who had introduced them.

"He is dating Natasha. He met her through his daughter Teddi Jo, who lives in LA. They've been seeing each other for a few months. Everybody really likes her," a source confirmed at the time.

Prior to his relationship with the realtor, Mellencamp dated actress Meg Ryan. They were together for seven years before getting engaged in 2018. The couple split just one year later.

"He didn't want to get married again," another source told People following that breakup. "He loves [Meg], but marriage never seemed to be a part of it. It's unclear how important a marriage was to Meg. But they spent a lot of time together and it's too bad they split. They really got along so well together."

Mellencamp has been married three times before and has five children from his past marriages: Michelle, 50, Teddi, 40, Justice, 36, Hud, 27, and Speck, 26.

The singer was married to Priscilla Esterline from 1970 to 1981, actress Victoria Granucci from 1981 to 1989, and model Elaine Irwin from 1992 to 2011.

Meanwhile, Barrett has two children from a previous relationship.
