Jerry O'Connell reveals the one thing that makes John Stamos' memoir comments about wife Rebecca Romijn 'awkward'

Actor and TV host Jerry O'Connell has finally spoken out about the details written about his wife Rebecca Romijn in Fuller House star John Stamos' memoir, released October 24.

While addressing the memoir, the Sliders star revealed he has not and will not be reading the book.

"I have not read it," he admitted to Andy Cohen while appearing on Radio Andy. "And it's funny, there was a, there was an interest in my household."

Explaining that after he and his wife heard Stamos' interview on Howard Stern, where he shared he was "shattered" over his divorce from Romijn and how he hated the actress for some time after their split, the pair decided not to give the situation air time.

"I do have to say, after listening to that interview … any interest of reading the book went away," O'Connell added.

"I think those are the only parts we were interested in our house, and we got to them and they were talked about," O'Connell, who married Romijn in 2007, three years after her divorce from the Fuller House actor, explained.

"I don't really need to hear about the casting process of famous sitcoms. That's not something that really interests us."

Stamos and Romijn were married for over five years before their 2004 divorce, and in his memoir titled If You Would Have Told Me, Stamos detailed the failed marriage, recounting allegations of betrayal and calling her "the devil" among other things.

Despite being predominantly unfazed by the memoir or it's contents, O'Connell revealed the book was hitting close to home in other ways.

"The only time it gets awkward is, my children are 14 and they see what we see now," he explained. "There's no hiding, there's no restricting them. There's no more keeping things from them."

He added: "But it's pretty crazy when, you know, your kids come out for breakfast and they go, 'Hey, mum, your ex has a book out and called you the devil. What are your thoughts?' 'Why did he call you that?'.

"And that's where it gets interesting, and it's interesting. We have no secrets, though."
