In new court documents obtained by TMZ, the 28-year-old Canadian actress accused Renner, 48, of threatening to kill her. She also claimed the Hollywood star once put a gun in his mouth and separately shot into the ceiling while Ava was in the room. In addition, she alleged that The Hurt Locker star used drugs and claimed he once left cocaine on the bathroom counter where their daughter could reach.

In a statement, Renner's lawyer called Pacheco's claims "one-sided" and said the two-time Oscar nominee remains focused on his daughter.

"The well-being of his daughter Ava has always been and continues to be the primary focus for Jeremy," the statement said. "This is a matter for the court to decide. It's important to note the dramatisations made in Sonni's declaration are a one-sided account made with a specific goal in mind."

A court date has been scheduled for November 7. Renner and Pacheco were also ordered to attend child custody mediation.

The former couple privately wed in 2014, but she filed for divorce later that year. She has filed for sole custody of Ava.
