Jennifer Lawrence is expecting her first child with husband Cooke Maroney

Jennifer Lawrence is going to be a mother!

The Hunger Games actress, 31, is expecting her first child with husband Cooke Maroney, People confirms.

Lawrence's rep confirmed the happy news to the magazine on September 9.

The couple got married on October 19, 2019, in a small ceremony of 150 guests in Rhode Island. Adele, Kris Jenner, Emma Stone and Amy Schumer were in attendance.

Lawrence and Maroney were first linked in 2018 and engaged the following year.

"I don't know, I started with the basics: 'How do I feel? Is he nice? Is he kind?'" she said of her decision to get married to Maroney on the NAKED with Catt Sadler podcast in June 2019.

"It's just — this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid but he's just, he's — you know. He's the greatest person I've ever met, so I feel very honoured to become a Maroney."
