Jennifer Grey and Clark Gregg announce they're divorcing after 19 years of marriage

That's it for Jennifer Grey and actor Clark Gregg.

The former couple announced on July 3 (US local time) on their respective Instagram accounts that they ended their relationship in January after 19 years of marriage.

Posting a photo of the two of them together, each actor wrote, "After 19 years together, we separated in January, knowing we'd always be a family who loves, values and cares for each other. We recently made the difficult decision to divorce, but we remain close and are deeply grateful for the life we've shared and the wonderful daughter we've raised."

The pair ended their post by admitting that they were "totally crying" as they shared the joint statement with the world.

Last year, the 58-year-old Marvel star joked to Closer magazine about how he spends time with the 60-year-old Dirty Dancing alum.

"I basically just walk around the house with me holding her on the lift. That's all we do," he playfully told the publication.

In 2014, the Avengers actor told the US Today show that he would never dream of recreating Swayze's part in the iconic final dance scene from the beloved 1987 flick.

"There's only one man who can really do that lift and sadly he's no longer with us — the amazing Patrick [Swayze]," he said at the time. "I will never try it. That was one of our wedding vows."

Gregg and Grey have shared the screen a few times over the years.

In 2006 they both appeared in The Road to Christmas and earlier this year they starred in an episode of The Conners, playing a married couple looking to shake up their marriage.

Grey and Gregg married in July 2001 and share a daughter — Stella, 18.
