Jenna Dewan legally changes name after Channing Tatum divorce

Weeks after finalising her divorce to actor Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan Tatum has legally changed her name.

Court documents show the actress, who'd been using her maiden name "Dewan" as her middle name for the duration of her nine-year marriage, legally dropped Tatum's surname on February 6.

Dewan made her name change Instagram official three weeks after the break-up in April 2018.

The 39-year-old actress restoring her birth name comes weeks after the former couple agreed on custody of their daughter Everly.

According to reports, Dewan and Tatum, 39, agreed on shared custody, with the six-year-old to split her time evenly between both parents. In addition, neither parent is able to use Everly in sponsored posts online without approval from the other.

Meanwhile, Dewan is preparing for the arrival of her second child with boyfriend Steve Kazee.

"Evie was a dream pregnancy," Dewan said on The Kelly Clarkson Show, not revealing whether or not she's having a boy or girl. "And this time around, also really great, but everything's happening faster.

"I'm swelling faster. I have heartburn faster. I was way more nauseous this time around. It's a little different."

And Everly couldn't be more excited to become a big sister.

"She just said to me this morning, 'I'm preparing myself for that baby to cry all the time,'" Dewan revealed in January.

"It was so adult, and she asked me if the baby cried in the night if she could get out of her bed and go sing the baby song. And I was like, that is so sweet."
