Jason Momoa responds to critics who shamed him for having a 'dad bod'

Jason Momoa has responded to critics who recently called him out for having a 'dad bod'.

Earlier this month, Momoa was photographed shirtless while he was vacationing with his wife, Lisa Bonet, in Venice, Italy.

Even though Momoa was in great shape, some trolls took it upon themselves to compare his body to the way it looked when he was shooting Aquaman.

But it turns out that Momoa is mostly unphased by the fact that he copped some casual body shaming.

"Oh, that's alright," Momoa told TMZ on Tuesday.

The publication asked the actor if it concerned him that people were commenting on his physical appearance, to which he replied, "No, not at all."

The actor — who was thrown a surprise birthday party this week — then proceeded to pat his stomach and share that the Guinness birthday cake had been amazing.

"Omg, what happened to the abs?" one user asked in a comment left on an Instagram photo. "That dad bod coming out," another added.

"Seems to me that he doesn't have the same buff bod he had in Aquaman," another user chimed in.

Others jumped to his defence with some replies to the trolls who'd called him out for losing his bulging biceps.

"Still has a better body then 90 per cent of people commenting," one user wrote.

"This man is beautiful, and from what I hear, inside and out. How many of you sad shamers can say that? Pfft," a fan shot back.
