January Jones issues perfect response to claims her bikini photo has 'worried' her friends

January Jones has no time for haters who don't appreciate her Instagram activity.

The Mad Men actress recently received notice for an article that was being prepped on her bikini photos appearing "desperate" and a "cry for attention."

On December 8, Jones shared a screenshot of the email with her followers. "S--t. They've discovered my secret," she wrote in the caption. "Consider this my public apology to my 'friends.'" Which, yeah, some friends!"

The email read, "To Whom It May Concern: The National Enquirer is preparing to publish a story which reports January Jones has worried friends with her series of attention-grabbing bikini pictures and social media posts.

"Sources claim her content smacks of a 'desperate cry for attention' and note how her acting work appears to have dried up before then pandemic took hold."

Shortly after, Jones shared another bikini photo with a message for all the concerned friends she may have.

"Had to do it. #DESPERATE," Jones captioned the image of her in a hot pink bikini.

Her famous friends got in on the joke and were delighted at the way in which she controlled the narrative.

Chrissy Teigen hilariously commented, "It was me. I'm worried !!!!!!!"

"You are hot," Diplo replied.
