Pregnant TV star hospitalised after fan's message raises alarm

Jana Kramer has revealed she was hospitalised while on a babymoon with her fiancé Allan Russell.

The One Tree Hill star, 39, who is expecting her third child, told Instagram followers she had developed a 'bad bacterial infection' while away in Florida.

"Our babymoon didn't go as planned but there were some lessons learned," the actress wrote.

"First off and most important, baby is good," she assured fans.

Kramer shared a series of photos of herself and Russell at Good Samaritan hospital in West Palm.

The mother-of-two, who is expecting her third child - first with Russell - told fans that she had initially believed her back pain she had had for weeks was pregnancy related.

"When I posted about my back hurting a week ago I just had chalked it up to pregnancy and didn't tell the doctors, because back pain is "normal" so "don't be a wimp" is what I thought."

Kramer urged her followers to not "just brush off pain", warning that symptoms can be "more serious than you think."

The actress then shared that she had taken the pain as a more serious sign after someone on social media reached out to suggest it could be a kidney issue

"Someone very sweet in my DMs sent me a message that it could possibly be my kidney. (I've since thanked her for her dm💜)."

The Click star said she had boarded the plane, but finally went to the hospital after landing when the symptoms had gotten worse.

"Long story short it was a bad bacterial infection that got into the kidneys," she revealed.

"Listen to ur body. Ur not a baby or inconveniencing people," Kramer added.

"If u hurt, talk to ur doctor. Leaving things for too long or not taking care of yourself when ur not feeling good can become very serious."

The singer then shared a very sweet message of appreciation for her doting fiancé who stayed by her hospital bed, as well as the nurses who cared for her.

Kramer followed up the initial post with a 'Part 2' update from her 'babymoon' trip in Florida.

The One Tree Hill star shared some sweet beach snaps from her trip, looking loved up as ever with her beau.

"Upside of not feeling good in Florida…this view. Though it was only one day to enjoy it we soaked up every minute," she said, adding a heartfelt 'I love you' to Russell.

The Prom Night actress first annonuced she was expecting her third child in June.

Kramer has two children from her previous marriage to Mike Caussin, daughter Jolie, 7 and son Jace, 4.

After her divorce from Caussin in 2021, the 39-year-old confirmed she was dating former Scottish footballer Allan Russell in January 2023.

The pair then announced they were engaged just six months later in early June.
