Jackie 'O' Henderson addresses rumours about her dating life

Jackie 'O' Henderson has broken her silence on those relationship rumours.

The radio star, 49, has recently been speculated to be dating her neighbour, insurance broker Daniel Cartwright, after the pair were spotted together.

However, on The Kyle and Jackie O Show Friday morning, Henderson finally squashed the rumours once and for all, assuring Cartwright is a "friend."

When her co-host Kyle Sandilands asked if Cartwright was her "new fella" after they were seen at the beach together, Henderson denied any romance between them.

"No, no, no. That's Daniel. He lives around the corner from me. We're friends," she said after her co-host teased the 35-year-old looked young for Henderson.

"We have mutual friends," Henderson explained, claiming the pair have "hung out at the beach a couple of times."

"Just whenever we go down [to the beach] we always say, 'Do you wanna come for a swim?'"

"That's all it is," the radio star said, doubling down.

Kyle and Jackie O Show newsreader Brooklyn Ross then quipped 35 was "too old" for Henderson.

"Very funny Brooklyn, very funny," she responded.

This isn't the first time the star has addressed romance speculation since her divorce from photographer Lee Henderson after 18 years of marriage in 2018.

She also shares daughter Catalina with her ex-husband of five years.

In 2023, the rumour mill was running rife with speculation that Henderson was dating tradie Jack Tyerman.

The star confirmed on the The Kyle and Jackie O Show in August 2023 that she was "still single" despite claims of a "secret toy boy".

"First of all, no, Jack is not my boyfriend," Henderson told Sandilands after she was spotted with Tyerman on what appeared to be a date night.

"I'm not in a relationship. He's not my secret toy boy. Nothing like that at all."

After her divorce, Henderson opened up about feeling "alone" and wanting to find another relationship.

"I'd just love to sit at the dinner table with someone and have dinner, that's what I yearn for and that's the thing that I miss most about my old life," she told host Jess Rowe on the podcast The Jess Rowe Big Talk Show

Henderson added hopefully that 'maybe down the track, I will fall in love, that would be nice."
