Hugh Jackman treated for skin cancer

Hugh Jackman has revealed on Twitter that he's been treated for skin cancer.

The Wolverine star posted a pic of himself bandaged up post-op, thanking his wife Deborra-Lee Furness for encouraging him to get the mark checked.

He captioned the Twit-pic: "Deb said to get the mark on my nose checked. Boy, was she right! I had a basil (sic) cell carcinoma. Please don’t be foolish like me. Get yourself checked. And USE sunscreen!!!'

Jackman's rep is yet to share further details on his condition.
