Hugh Jackman jokes he 'always' thought Whitney Houston's famous song was about him
You face some pretty harsh realities as you grow up, and celebrities are not immune to having their childhood illusions shattered.
In an Instagram video, Hugh Jackman has recalled the moment it dawned on him that Whitney Houston's 1992 hit 'I Will Always Love You' wasn't in fact written about him.
The 52-year-old actor speaks to the camera as he listens to the song.
"By the way, listen to the very last lyric of 'I Will Always Love You' by Whitney Houston. She actually says Hugh, I promise you. The very last – it is Hugh," he laughs, before admitting: "Well, I made myself believe that when I was 15."
The actor then cuts to the final lyric in the famous song, where the singer belts out "You" — or, according to Mr. Jackman, "Hugh."

"I told my younger self that Whitney Houston was singing to me. I might still believe it," he joked in the caption. "I love you @whitneyhouston #iwillalwaysloveyou."

Fans commented on the hilarious post, loving his interpretation of the hit.
"Yeah, definitely, you're right! She says HUGH," one assured him.
"Yep, she loves Hugh," laughed another.
"It's official," declared another. "It's now 'I will always love High.'"
