Hugh Jackman honours wife Deborra-Lee Furness on anniversary: '21 glorious years'

Australian sweethearts Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness celebrated 21 years of marriage on Tuesday, with the veteran actor marking the anniversary with a sweet selfie on Instagram.

The pic showed Hugh, 48, and Deborra-Lee, 61, beaming on a tennis court, holding up their rackets.

“To the love of my life. 21 glorious years," the Logan star wrote. "I love you with all my heart.”

The post follows in Hugh's tradition of Instagramming their milestones. To commemorate their two decades-long marriage last year, Hugh shared a throwback picture from their wedding day writing, "20 years ago on this day…"

The Hollywood actor isn't shy about expressing his feelings off social media, either. In 2016, Hugh gushed to Ellen DeGeneres about their solid marriage. "It gets better and better, I can honestly say that," he said. "She's the greatest thing that ever happened to me."

The cute couple met on the set of ABC's Correlli in 1995, and they have two children together: Oscar, 16, and Ava, 11.

Speaking to the Australian Women's Weekly in 2014, Deborra-Lee addressed the popular opinion about her marriage to a "sex symbol" and asked people stop calling her "lucky" in relation to her rock-solid relationship with the Hollywood star.

“That to me is a putdown, like you suggesting I won the chook raffle,” Furness told the magazine. "I think we create our own destiny."

While her famous husband may live a life in the spotlight, Deborra-Lee works tirelessly behind the scenes with her organisation, Adopt Change. In 2014, she was named New South Wales’ Australian of the Year in 2014 for her work in adoption reform in Australia.
