Ben Affleck's ex just weighed in on the Bennifer red carpet debut

A former flame of Ben Affleck has commented on he and J.Lo's monumental red carpet return in Venice.

Like all of us, she is in support.

On an Instagram photo posted by Lopez's stylist, Mariel Haenn, Gwyneth Paltrow couldn't resist sharing her thoughts.

"Okay, this is cute," she commented.

It seems, even the ex-girlfriends are on the Bennifer 2.0 bandwagon after the pair made their first red carpet debut together in 18 years.

Paltrow formerly dated Affleck after working together in their movie Shakespeare in Love.

The pair broke up in 2000, but it seems there's no bad blood between them, with Paltrow clearly appreciating the monumental reunion of Bennifer 2.0.

The last time Affleck and Lopez were seen hand-in-hand on a red carpet was 2003, for Affleck's role in Daredevil.

Now the pair have stolen the spotlight at the Venice Film Festival, as they strutted down the red carpet looking as stylish and sharp as ever.

Lopez wore a white mermaid body-hugging gown with plunging neckline and high side slit by Georges Hobeika, while Affleck was dapper in a black tuxedo.

Paltrow isn't the only celebrity to share praise for the duo, with Kim Kardashian also posting a supportive pic for Bennifer after the red carpet photos emerged.

The socialite re-posted one of the photos of Affleck and Lopez with the caption "Long Live Bennifer."

The couple hit the red carpet for the evening premiere of Afflecks' new film The Last Duel, which he co-wrote with longtime friend, Matt Damon.

Directed by Ridley Scott, the film is set to be a major blockbuster, with Adam Driver and Jodie Comer as leads.

The pair have enjoyed an extended stay in Italy, arriving in July to celebrate Lopez's 52nd birthday.

It's been a whirlwind of a year for both Affleck and Lopez, who rekindled their romance in May after Lopez's split from fiancé Alex Rodriguez.

The reunion comes 17 years after their 2004 break-up, which also ended their engagement.

Since then, the pair have been cuddling up for the paparazzi in some steamy snaps, sharing photos on Instagram and even enjoying sweet shared family outings to Universal Studios.
