Gwyneth Paltrow shares details of 'incredible' engagement party with Brad Falchuk

Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk are on cloud nine.

The Hollywood couple celebrated their engagement with an A-list party thrown by Falchuk's TV producing partner Ryan Murphy in Los Angeles over the weekend, which Page Six previously reported may have been a "secret" wedding ceremony.

Paltrow, 45, took to social media on April 16 to share details about the "incredible" evening, held at the Los Angeles Theater. (And perhaps spurring those wedding rumours again!)

Sharing a photo of herself in a flowing burgundy one-shoulder gown on stage with Falchuk, the Iron Man star captioned the photo: "Thank you #ryanmurphy for the most incredible evening to celebrate our ❤️There will never be adequate words to express our gratitude."

She continued, "@giambattistavalliparis I will never get over my gorgeous dress. @georgieeisdell thank you. @hairbylorenzomartin thank you. @teamsaltzman thank you. Thank you to all of our amazing true and dear friends who came to support us. We feel like the luckiest people on the planet because we have all of you in our lives. And most of all thank you @bradfalchuk for the true happiness."

The couple's celeb friends including Cameron Diaz, Chelsea Handler, Reese Witherspoon, and Kate Hudson were among the stars to come out and celebrate their love.

Just days before, Paltrow shared photos from her "hen weekend" at the luxurious Four Seasons resort Costa Palmas in Los Cabos, Mexico.

"I’ve never had a wedding before…" Paltrow, who eloped with her first husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, has said of walking down the aisle. "So even though I’m 45, I sort of feel like a 21-year-old."

Paltrow and Falchuk confirmed their engagement in the January issue of Goop magazine.
