Cohen shared frustration that his "existence right now is about healing" but was "truly grateful" he and his wife both survived.

"We know when we know in life. The fragility of us all and how life can change in an instant. Lessons we don't want to learn but often are forced to."

In her own post, Traina said the pair were "so grateful to be alive".

She revealed the pair had spent the night with family and friends before the crash.
