Game of Thrones' Kit Harington and Rose Leslie welcome their first child

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie have welcomed their first child together!

"They have had a baby boy and are very, very happy," Harington's rep told multiple outlets on February 16.

In paparazzi photos, the couple were seen walking through London with their new addition. Harington held Leslie's hand as she cradled her baby in a carrier on her chest, and carried a big bag from Sainsbury's.

In September last year, Leslie, 34, confirmed she was expecting a baby.

She first debuted her baby bump on the cover of UK's Make magazine in a black-and-white photoshoot.

"I am thrilled to be expecting, and I can't wait to meet the new member of our family!" she told the New York Post.

Harington and Leslie met during filming for the second season of Game of Thrones. The couple started dating in 2012, at the same time as their on-screen characters, Jon Snow and Ygritte. They made their red carpet debut in 2016 when they attended the Olivier Awards in London.

In June 2018, the couple tied the knot at a castle in Scotland.

The following year, Harington told GQ Australia he loves the prospect of their future children watching them meet on Game of Thrones.

"I have no idea if we will, but say me and Rose do have children. They'll know. They'll be able to see the genesis of their parents getting together. Which is quite a wonderful thought, really," he said.
