'Game of Thrones' stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie marry in gorgeous Scotland ceremony

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are married! The Game of Thrones stars, both 31 -- who met and fell in love on the hit HBO show -- tied the knot at a church near Leslie's family's Wardhill Castle (yes, her family has a castle) in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

Harington and Leslie -- who played Jon Snow and Ygritte respectively -- were surrounded by guests including their Game of Thrones co-hosts.

Emilia Clarke looked stunning in a pink dress and coat; Sophie Turner -- who has her own wedding to plan, to The Voice Coach Joe Jonas -- turned heads in a red blazer dress and over-the-knee boots; and Maisie Williams wore a black pantsuit and carried a clutch by the late designer Kate Spade.

Peter Dinklage, Liam Cunningham, John Bradley, Joe Dempsie and Ben Crompton were also in attendance, as was Malin Akerman and several members of the band Mumford and Sons, including Marcus Mumford.

The bride looked beautiful in a lace dress and was given away by her father, Sebastian Leslie, who wore at traditional Scottish kilt. He said he was "absolutely thrilled" about the wedding, adding, "It's an absolutely lovely day for us." The groom -- who this week reiterated that he will shave off his famous hair once Game of Thrones has ended for good -- looked dapper in a three-piece suit.

Members of the public, presumably fans of the show, also gathered outside the church to witness part of the nuptials.

The couple's engagement was announced with a notice in the Times of London newspaper in September.

While Leslie's character was killed off Game of Thrones a few years ago -- at the hands of Harington's character's protégé, funnily enough -- Harington's Jon Snow was revealed last season to be the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen, and will play a major role in the show's final season, which will air in 2019.
