It is unclear what the man said in the video, but it appears he was advising Elordi to step away from interactions with his fans.

Elordi nodded and tapped the security guard on the shoulder while proceeding to interact with his fans.

"I'm going to take a picture right here. Don't ever tell me what to do," he told the security guard.

"Good on him, he's being nice to his fans," one TikTok user wrote.

"But if something happened he would be blaming the bodyguard for not being aware," wrote another.

One shared that the actor can't win no matter what.

"This is so funny, people complain no matter what. If he doesn't stop to take pictures, people will say he is arrogant, if he stopped to take pictures and basically tell the person whatever he said, he is rude, like people are never happy," they wrote.

While walking the red carpet on May 19 2025, Denzel Washington, got into an heated exchange with a photographer who grabbed his suit jacket sleeve, seemingly trying to get the actor's attention.

In video footage capturing the moment, Washington then turned away from Spike Lee – who had wandered over – to directly confront the man.

The Equalizer star pointed in the photographer's face repeatedly while the man laughed and once again grabbed Washington's arm.
