Johnny Depp allegedly cut off his own fingertip in Amber Heard fight, believed she cheated with Billy Bob Thornton

Amber Heard's domestic violence case against Johnny Depp just took another gruesome turn.

The 30-year-old actress and her lawyers have accused Johnny of severing his own fingertip in a violent rage over his belief that Amber was cheating on him with Billy Bob Thornton last March.

According to TMZ, Amber's team argued in court that the 53-year-old actor sliced his finger on a piece of glass as he allegedly smashed several bottles and windows. Then, as seen in photos presented as evidence at trial, he dipped his severed finger in a jar of blue paint and scrawled "Billy Bob" and "Easy Amber" across a mirror.

Amber's team alleges Johnny was drunk and high on ecstasy during the incident.

The couple, who were in Australia while Johnny shot Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, had only been married one month at the time, and it was originally reported that Johnny's finger injury occurred on the set of Pirates of the Caribbean. The actor had to be flown back to the US for surgery.

While Amber and Billy Bob did co-star in the as-yet-unreleased thriller London Fields, she has adamantly denied any romantic involvement with the 61-year-old star.

And "Billy Bob definitely, absolutely did not have an affair with Amber," a source tells People.

Amber and Johnny, who filed for divorce in May, are currently at trial over her claims that he violently assaulted and threatened her throughout the course of their marriage.

TMZ reports that while both parties are now working toward an $8 million settlement agreement, Amber is insisting that Johnny confess to the physical abuse claims – and the actor refuses to admit to crimes he "never committed".
