Michelle Rodriguez flubs Caitlyn Jenner's name and gender while defending transgender role in Tomboy

Michelle Rodriguez's heart might be in the right place, but her head seems to be somewhere in the clouds.

TMZ asked the 37-year-old Fast and Furious star about her transgendered role in the controversial upcoming movie Tomboy, a Revenger's Tale, and we're shocked by how many things she got wrong.

You'd think an actress who identifies as bisexual would know the acronyms GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) and LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender) by heart. Or she'd be aware of the difference between Kris and Caitlyn Jenner…as well as the latter's gender.

But that's nothing compared to her shocking racial comment. Watch Michelle's bungle-fest in the video above.

In Tomboy, Michelle's character becomes a woman after being given gender-reassignment surgery against her will. That's when the "revenger" part of the title kicks in.

GLAAD has criticised the film for "turning what is a life-saving medical procedure for transgender people into a sensationalistic plot device".
