Fans blast presenters for 'immature' and 'embarrassingly unprofessional' James Blunt interview
Two UK presenters have been ridiculed by fans after their "dreadful" treatment of singer-songwriter James Blunt in a recent interview.
Appearing on BBC Breakfast, alongside hosts Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty, Blunt was there to be interviewed about his Greatest Hits album for 2021.
But it didn't take much for the conversation to take a different line.

After the presenters shared a compilation of Blunt's old music videos, Stayt said: "You appear to be getting younger. Can I reflect on that for a moment? Looking at that video and looking at you now… what's going on?"
Blunt, who is well-known for his quick-wittedness, and wry humour, responded: "Well, you know, I think with plastic surgery, I think little and often is the technique I would advise."
Stayt then said: "As you well know, some people will think that's a double bluff," while Munchetty sat beside him, rocking with laughter.
Baffled by the comment, Blunt turned serious. He replied: "It's not no...I don't know where to go from here."

With things turning understandably awkward, Charlie said he'd "put a stop to it right there", trying to smooth things over.
The interview has left viewers completely appalled, with many airing their frustrations on Twitter.
"Very possibly the worst interview I've ever heard. Well done James for putting up with their inane questioning with such good grace," one person tweeted.
"There [were] several times when one or the other of these two presenters are stone deaf to proper and respectful questioning of guests. This day was an inexcusable disaster. Sorry to James," a second person shared.
A third person dubbed the interview "very immature and embarrassingly unprofessional."
