Eva Longoria is pregnant, expecting first child with husband José Bastón

Eva Longoria is going to be a mum!

The former Desperate Housewives star is pregnant with a baby boy, her rep confirms to multiple outlets.

It's the first child for 42-year-old Longoria, who is four months along, and her husband of a year and a half, José Antonio "Pepe" Bastón. (Baston has three children of his own from a previous marriage.)

The star previously laughed off pregnancy rumours in April in response to bikini pics taken of her on holiday.

“I saw some pictures of myself [looking] really fat on a boat,” she joked on Snapchat at the time. “I have to tell you, all I did was eat cheese. So that’s the news of the day. I’m not pregnant, just eating a lot of cheese, a lot of wine, a lot of pancakes…

"I just had to share because my whole family is calling me asking if I’m pregnant. Yes, I look pregnant, but it was just a ball of cheese, a ball of cheese in my stomach,” she continued. “But seriously, I looked so fat, but you know what? That happens to people."

Longoria and Bastón, 49, got engaged in Dubai in 2015 and wed the following May in a lavish Acapulco, Mexico ceremony.

“I never thought I would get married again," Longoria, who was married twice before, told People in May. "It’s him, he makes it all worth it.”

And she's previously discussed the possibility of having children.

“I just turned 40, so I have thought, ‘Is time running out?’ ” Longoria said in 2015. “I should be thinking about [children], but I feel like my life is full.”
