Emma Stone splits with Andrew Garfield: 'It's not just a break'

After three years of on and off-screen romance, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone have reportedly called it quits.

"[Emma, 26,] ended things and moved back to L.A," a source told Us Weekly. "It's finished. It's not just a break."

Reports first starting popping up earlier this month suggesting it was just a short break, but this time it's apparently over for good.

Another Us Weekly source added that 31-year-old Andrew's intense commitment to his role in Martin Scorsese's Silence might have been a factor in the break.

"He'd been in a dark place for months, getting into his role," the source said. "He wasn't being the best partner."

Andrew has been shooting the Scorsese project in Taiwan since January this year. The pair, who met on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man in 2011, were last snapped together in New York City on January 7, 2015.
