Comedian Dick Capri dies after spending final Christmas with family
Comedian Dick Capri has died at age 93 in his sleep in the early hours of Boxing Day.
The legendary comedian, who had worked with the likes of Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli and Tom Jones, spent his last days dealing with a bleeding enlarged aorta that was previously deemed inoperable by doctors.
As per the New York Post, Capri's son Jeff shared that the comedian spent his last Christmas with his family on Wednesday and video-called those who couldn't make it to Florida to see him or for the holidays.

Knowing the end was near, Jeff and the family got him a meal from his favourite restaurant on Christmas Day, after which he went to bed and never woke up again.
Jeff told the outlet, "The world is not as funny today as it was yesterday."
Capri was born Richard Capri in the city of Reading, Pennsylvania.
He recalled on his website that he would do comedy mimes for customers while working at his father's grocery store, sparking a love for the genre.
He spent the early '70s touring with singer Engelbert Humperdinck as his comedy act and went on to perform at iconic venues such as Radio City Music Hall, Minskoff Theatre in New York City, and MGM's Grand Hotel in Las Vegas.
He even got the chance to perform for two different US presidents – Gerald Ford and George Bush.
As per his website, Capri had "used his Italian heritage and his unique delivery to mix comedy and mime – setting him distinctly apart from the traditional stand-up comic".

The star made his Broadway debut in 1991 in Catskills On Broadway, running for 14 months.
He also featured in films such as They Still Call Me Bruce, Bittersweet Place, and One Angry Man.
His son Jeff followed in his footsteps with his own career in comedy, appearing on Comics Unleashed, Last Comic Standing, and Ed McMahon's Next Big Star.
He also released his own Dry Bar Comedy special, Capricious.
