Danielle Fishel is engaged to producer Jensen Karp

Danielle Fishel said yes!

The former Boy Meets World star, who played bubbly Topanga Lawrence, is engaged to writer/comedian Jensen Karp, the couple confirmed on social media on March 22.

The 36-year-old actress tweeted, along with a photo of herself cuddled against her husband-to-be, "I am marrying this man and I don't care about the wedding. I don't care about the honeymoon destination. I only care that I have found my person and I am excited for our marriage and life together."

Karp, 38, a producer on the TV show Drop the Mic, tweeted his own sweet tribute to Fishel, whom he met back in high school.

"I got engaged today. She is the best person in the entire universe. We went to high school together and never shared more than a hello. Now she will be the person who continually asks me 'Why?' when I buy another pair of Jordans for the rest of our lives. Love you @daniellefishel."

In an Instagram post that same day, Fishel shared the hilarious story behind what she thought would be "a normal day."

"I woke up today thinking it would be a normal day and it was anything but normal. I put on my Genghis Cohen t-shirt and went to see @jensenclan88 at work where I proceeded to screw up a very romantic marriage proposal by being too efficient (this is very on brand for me). The future Mr. and Mrs. Karp are now engaged and no one is more excited than I am."

The couple has been romantically linked since June 2017. It's the second marriage for Fishel, who was married to Tim Belusko from 2013-2016.

"We have a Drop the Mic engagement!!" she wrote, adding heart emojis."
