Sprouse and the rest of the Riverdale cast remain in lockdown as production has been halted amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Warner Bros. TV pulled the plug on the program after a member of the production came into close contact with someone who'd tested positive for the virus.

The studio issued a statement saying: "We are working closely with the appropriate authorities and health agencies in Vancouver to identify and contact all individuals who may have come into direct contact with our team member. The health and safety of our employees, casts and crews is always our top priority."
