Just a few months ago, Chrissy Teigen and her husband, John Legend, lost their unborn son Jack.

Teigen penned an emotional essay on Medium about the experience, and her and Legend have recently spoken about the intense grieving they've gone through.

The supermodel is now opening up about her healing process, and her slow recovery to becoming stronger and happier.

She posted a photo to Instagram showing herself wrapped up in a jumper and cozy socks on the couch.

"When I'm old and grey, I will look back on the last two months as being brutal, exhausting, sad, physically challenging, mentally painful b-----s of a couple months," Teigen, 34, captioned the photo.

"But I refuse to not find humour in both the rage-fits and the outfits. I already see the leaves as orange instead of grey, realised the sky is indeed blue and not black and horn honks on my forced morning walks only bring me to my knees half the time."

"I can make it up my stairs only stopping once or twice instead of every other, and can get out of the bathtub all by myself as long as I have the promise John will dry me off."

"Anyhow the point is, f--k, I think it's happening," she ended the message, adding a heart emoji.

Earlier this week, Teigen admitted on Twitter that she's stepping back from social media for her mental health. "I'm not tweeting much because I'm honestly in a bit of a grief depression hole," she wrote, adding: "But do not worry as I have so much help around me to get better."

She noted that despite her grief, she's still extremely lucky: "I really know I have an incredible life though," she tweeted, "I promise I do. It's just my brain and body are screwy right now. I know I am insanely lucky!"

The past few days Teigen has been sharing her Thanksgiving celebrations with her family. She reunited with her dad after months apart, revealing that everyone in their house had isolated and was tested.
