Chris Hemsworth has revealed that he named one of his twin sons after one of Brad Pitt's most iconic characters.

The Aussie actor, 40, who shares three children with his Spanish actress wife Elsa Pataky, told Vanity Fair that they named son Tristan after Pitt's character Tristan Ludlow in hit '90s film Legends of the Fall.

"There's never been a more beautiful man onscreen," Hemsworth said.

Hemsworth and Pataky met and married 14 years ago, with Hemsworth revealing to Elle in 2015 that it was love at first sight.
