'My best friend': Chloe Bailey reflects on her bond with sister Halle Bailey

Chloe Bailey has opened up about her close bond with her sister Halle Bailey.

Speaking to 9honey Celebrity ahead of the release of her new horror film, The Exorcism, Chloe, 25, says the pair are "best friends" and that she's grateful she has her sibling by her side in the industry.

"Everything she's accomplished with her music and acting career and I'm so grateful to have someone like her in my life."

"I'm so proud of her," Chloe says, explaining that having a sibling in the industry you are close to means you "you feel less alone for sure."

While most people will know Halle for her starring role in the live-action version of The Little Mermaid, she also forms one-half of music duo Chloe x Halle.

The sisters, who released hits including Do It, Forgive Me and Ungodly Hour, were signed onto Beyonce's record label Parkwood Entertainment in 2015.

The deal was reportedly worth around $US1 million (approx. $1.5 million) for six albums.

What's next for Chloe though, is the release of her new solo album.

"It's great to make my own mark," Chloe tells 9honey, teasing her new album as "very summery".

"I can't wait for the world to hear [it]," she explains. "To create and liberate myself, musically, is really exciting."

For now, she's celebrating the upcoming release of the film The Exorcism with Russell Crowe.

Chloe treasures her time on set with the Oscar winner.

"He was actually so incredibly kind to me, I absolutely adored working with him," she says.

"He always played the best music on set, he was dancing, laughing and you wouldn't expect that from him.

"He was telling me about his farm in Australia and stuff like that and he was so kind in every way, I have no complaints, Russell Crowe was the best to me."

The Exorcism will be released in cinemas across Australia on June 13.
