Today hosts point out Carrie Underwood's resemblance to a (very) familiar Aussie face

It seems American country superstar Carrie Underwood has a doppelganger here Down Under.

Today's Brooke Boney interviewed the eight-time Grammy Award winner on this morning's show, and couldn't helping pointing out the resemblance to a rather familiar face as the segment closed. (Watch the video above.)

"Leila McKinnon, uh, I mean Carrie's album Denim and Rhinestones is out now," she remarked as a photo of the album cover flashed on screen.

For what it's worth, Karl Stefanovic could see the similarity too, replying, "She looks like Leila, doesn't she?"

Declaring Underwood the spitting image of the Nine journalist, Boney added, "I'm sure neither of those women would mind being compared to one another."
