Carrie Bickmore left speechless after Steve Price's racy joke on 'The Project'

The panelists of The Project never take themselves too seriously, even in the most awkward of moments.

In a segment discussing auto-corrected text messages airing Monday night, Carrie Bickmore shared her frustration with iPhone texts subbing in "ducking" in place of, well, the "F" word. As it turns out, it's no coincidence, as a former Apple designer confirmed products are specifically engineered to do this to help users avoid unfortunate typos.

"Ducking pops up on my phone all the time and it's really annoying," Bickmoree said through feigned frustration as the studio audience laughed. "The worst part is when you see it says duck and you go, 'No, I wanted it… so you change it to what you wanted and then it says duck, duck, duck and you're like, 'No!'"

Seeing an opportunity to rib his co-panelist, Steve Price chimed in jokingly: "So if I get a message from you saying lets go ducking next week. What does that mean?"

Prince's racy comment elicited uproarious laughter from the audience, while Bickmore appeared momentarily stunned.

Through a fit of giggles, she can finally be heard saying, "I've never felt so uncomfortable."

Meanwhile, Pete Helliar appeared to cringe before he replied, "Wow."

On Twitter, some fans of the show weren't exactly thrilled with the joke, with one person writing: "No thanks, Pricey... I don't want to go ducking #TheProjectTV @theprojecttv"

But the awkward moment passed, and apparently no hard feelings, with Prince telling his co-panelists, "Sorry, I apologise."

As the saying goes, shirt ducking happens.
