The radio host appeared to be either recovering from or preparing for vocal cord surgery.
In a May episode of Carrie & Tommy, Bickmore revealed she visited an ear, nose and throat specialist who’d warned her vocal cords were “in a very bad way”.
“My voice hasn’t been right for some time,” the media personality said sounding audibly hoarse.
“Things are not good, so I’m going to have to take some time off work to get it fixed. If I don’t get it fixed now, they [vocal cords] will be permanently damaged, which will be very unfortunate for my job…”

'Like a crime scene': Carrie Bickmore to undergo surgery after 'walking into a wall' in horror injury
“I just don’t like letting people down and I don’t like letting myself down. I also really love my job and don’t want to be forced not to never do it again,” she said shakily.
“I’m taking a little bit of time off to get it fixed. I’m hoping that if I get onto it now, it will be a non-permanent thing.”
Little gave his full support adding: “We just want you healthy and back to 100%, Carrie.”

It’s not the first time this year Bickmore has found herself in hospital.
In April, Bickmore underwent surgery after a horror accident left her with a deep gash on her head and a hit nerve.
“Looked like a crime scene,” Bickmore said alongside the carousel of photos, including one of her head wrapped in bandages. “Blood spurting from my head.”
She said the cut was “healing terribly” and that she was still hurting, especially after someone dropped a suitcase on her head.
